Rakhi Sawant was seen at the prayer meet of her late mother Jaya Sawant.
Ramdas Athawale too showed up his presence at the Rakhi’s late mother’s house to pay Tribute.
Ramdas Athawale even spoke to media and said,” Actress Rakhi Sawant who also belongs to our party, her mother Jaya Sawant had passed away on 28th January and I’m here to support Rakhi Sawant ji and her family in their grief.”
He added,” When I got to know about this, I had a talk with Rakhi Sawant ji on phone and today I have come here from Hyderabad .”
He continued,” Her father Anand Sawant was in the police force and Rakhi Sawant is not from a big family. She came here, struggled a lot and also took care of her mother and that’s why her mother’s blessings have stayed with Rakhi Sawant ji.”
He said,” She has a brother as well as a sister and I have a familial relation with the family.”
Ramdas Athawale expressed his grief and said,” Jaya Sawant, Rakhi Sawant’s mother who has passed away, I am here to support her and pay tribute to her mother. I express my deep sorrow on behalf of my party and as Narendra Modi’s cabinet minister, I’m here to pay tribute to Jaya Sawant ji,she will always be in our memories.”
Rakhi too expressed her emotions and said,” I’m extremely lucky that I have always got support and love from him who’s our honourable Cabinet minister and my brother as well.”
She added,” Seema Tai who’s her wife and his family is like my own family. We’ve been together always in all ups and downs.”
Rakhi said that earlier she used to feel as an orphan post her mother’s demise but she is relieved that she has her brother Ramdas Athawale’s support with her
