Amazon Prime Video’s Shershaah Trailer launch celebrations on Vijay Divas at Kargil gets lauded by attendees; the Amazon Original Movie is highly anticipated, Watch THIS Video!


Celebrations were unique this year in Kargil, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Divas as Amazon Prime Video and the Team of Shershaah unveiled the riveting trailer of ‘Shershaah’ in the presence of military personnel and families of those who martyred.

Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, Shershaah is inspired by the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead along with Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar and Pawan Chopra in pivotal roles.

Rightly said, goosebumps incoming as everyone in the war-drama is now much-awaited by the audiences. The trailer instilled a feeling of pride into the army men and reminded the audiences of the bravery and gallant spirit of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). The film honours his invaluable sacrifice in the Kargil War, a soldier and his story that became not only an inspiration but a legend for generations to come.

The annual celebrations held to honour the heroes of Kargil War served as the ideal stage to unveil the trailer of the film and was attended by Actor Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Director Vishnu Varadhan, Producers Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta and Vijay Subramaniam, Director Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video.

Jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, the film marks the first ever and landmark collaboration between Amazon Prime Video and Dharma Productions for a global release.

As a lead up to the Independence Day Weekend, Shershaah will stream on Amazon Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories starting August 12th, 2021.
