Amitabh Bachchan has praised his son Abhishek Bachchan after he was honoured with a trophy at the fourth edition of the Indian Sports Honours. Taking to Instagram on Friday, Amitabh posted pictures of Abhishek as he posed with his awards.
In the first photo, Abhishek Bachchan, dressed in a black suit, held his trophy and looked at it. He was also seen posing with another trophy in the next picture. Abhishek wore a pink and blue outfit as he sat on a chair. A photo of his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan was seen on a table next to him.
Sharing the pictures, Amitabh wrote, “YEEEAAAAHHHHHHH .. Abhishek ! my pride. FilmFare Best Actor – DASVI ..Jaipur Pink Panthers , which you own, wins Championship League in Kabaddi ..And .. now JPP wins the Virat Kohli Foundation Sports Honours trophy versus other league teams of Football and Cricket ! (clapping hands and flexed biceps emojis). 2022-2023 WHTCTW !!!”
Amitabh also wrote about Abhishek on Friday on his blog. He said, “Watching the inspirational stories of the greats of the World, gives an afterthought of a want to follow, imitate, and conduct oneself in similar ..I watched one today .. and the desire to express what the celebrity did in the film, does impact the lesser mortals like me .. but endeavour shall be made and the will to complete its function we hope, shall prevail ..”
He also added, “.. and as I do dwell on this in walks the Son with another Trophy .. his team Jaipur Pink Panthers wins the Sports Honours trophy, The Virat Kohli Foundation Sports Honours , from the many contenders – well rewarded , well deserved and a pride for the Father .. his team Jaipur Pink Panthers won the Kabaddi Championships and now this honour , received in competition with several other sports teams from Cricket and Football .. the Champ .. YEEEEAAAAHHHHHHH !!!”
Amitabh also said, “.. when you achieve Bhaiyu .. its the most prized moment for the Father – ME !! COMEEE ONNNNNNNNN !!!” Amitabh concluded, “SO SO SO PROUD!!”
Abhishek also shared pictures on Instagram. He wrote, “Grateful and humbled by the recognition bestowed upon @jaipur_pinkpanthers as the Club of The Year. Proud of every team player. This award is a testament to the team’s hard work & dedication.” Jaipur Pink Panthers won the Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 final last December.
