Actor Mrunal Thakur took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday and talked about being ‘naive’ and ‘vulnerable.’ She shared a photo of herself in which she was crying. Her crying photo left many wondering about her well-being.
Anong with her old photo, Mrunal wrote on Instagram Stories, “Yesterday was tough. But today I’m stronger, wiser and happy! Everybody has pages in their stories they don’t read out loud but I’m choosing to read mine out loud – because maybe someone out needs to learn the lesson I learnt.”
“Taking one day at a time! It’s ok to be naive and vulnerable,” she further added. The photo, featuring the actor in tears, was shared on Reddit. Reacting to the post, a user on Reddit wrote, “I hope she does better.” Another one said, “Stay strong girl. You are one of the best we have.” Someone else commented, “Hope she is doing well. She is a good actor and deserves good scripts.”
“This woman really makes my heart skip a beat. She is really beautiful in a very raw and earthy way. Just can’t describe it in words. Hope everything is ok,” one more said.
Soon after Mrunal also added a video and explained the photo. She said on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, “And that picture was taken at the time, when I felt extremely low and couldn’t make it, but today I’m happy. And, I made it, woohoo!” She ended the video with a loud cheer and laugh.
Mrunal started her acting career with the TV show Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan in 2012 and gained recognition with Kumkum Bhagya. She later made her Bollywood debut with Love Sonia in 2018 and appeared in films like Super 30, Batla House, Ghost Stories, Toofaan and Dhamaka. She also appears in Marathi and Telegu films.
Her last Hindi film was Jersey, alongside Shahid Kapoor. The film couldn’t perform well at the box office. However, the actor’s last Telegu film Sita Ramam opposite Dulquer Salmaan, was a hit.
Mrunal recently appeared in Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s film Sefliee. She was a part of the film song Kudiyee Ni Teri Vibe. Directed by Raj Mehta, it was released in the theatres on February 24.
She will be next seen in the war drama Pipaa with Ishaan Khatter. She also has the crime thriller Gumraah with Aditya Roy Kapur, which will release in cinemas on April 7. The film is the official Hindi remake of a Tamil hit action-thriller film Thadam, released in 2019.
Besides this, she also has Pooja Meri Jaan, Aankh Micholi and an upcoming film with Telugu actor Nani.
