Emergency is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical film directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut, from a screenplay by Ritesh Shah and story by Ranaut. Based on the 1977 Indian Emergency, it stars Ranaut as former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The film also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman in pivotal roles.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is back on the micro-blogging site, Twitter and the very first tweet after her return on the platform talks about her upcoming directorial Emergency.
On Tuesday, Kangana took to her Twitter handle to announce her film’s wrap.
Kangana Ranaut also shared BTS video of her film in which one can see different departments of the film unit coming together to put together her ambitious project. Emergency, which is now entered the post production stage, has now set it’s release date as Oct 20, 2023 .
