Television sweetheart Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has reportedly been evicted from Bigg Boss 16 just days before the finale of the show. Despite being the first finalist to receive the ticket to the finale, the actor has been eliminated from the show.
According to a tweet by popular insider account The Khabri, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia received the lowest amount of votes this week. The tweet read, “Exclusive and Confirmed, Yes Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is eliminated from the house on Audience votes.”
The elimination of Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia comes just days after Sumbul Touqeer Khan was evicted from the show. The grand finale of Bigg Boss 16 will reportedly take place this weekend on February 11 and 12.
The actress was an integral part of the reality show for over 18 weeks. She won the ticket to the finale, but unfortunately, she was evicted from the show. On the Salman Khan-hosted BB 16, Nimrit didn’t get along well with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
Viewers never witnessed their friendship on the show. Post her eviction from Bigg Boss 16, Nimrit told that she couldn’t associate herself with Priyanka’s ways. However, she did admit that the Udaariyaan actress is a nice girl.
“There is nothing wrong with that human being and in me. We are just two very different people with different mindsets and thought processes. Among 16 contestants, there’s a possibility that I could get along well with someone or I could not. She couldn’t relate to me and I couldn’t relate to her. I couldn’t associate myself with her ways.
I would find certain things very bizarre and absurd considering we are on a reality show and not doing a daily soap. She is a nice girl and I wish her luck. You never know when we are going to cross paths. It’s a small industry. I don’t think there is a need to carry any baggage. It’s just two people who don’t get along well. That’s okay,” Nimrit told during her post eviction Interview.
According to reports, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has already been offered many big-budget Bollywood films that are currently in the works. The actor has already been offered ‘Love S*x Aur Dhokha 2’ when ace producer Ekta Kapoor came into the Bigg Boss 16 house.
